How We Came to Be…
We’ve all heard the tales of the little folk and faerie. Sometimes if you truly believe, the magic of the forest is revealed. Trent & I were lucky enough to experience this… we followed a trail of mushrooms, down a clover lane towards the river to Grandmother Oak. Here we discovered a little haven filled with the most curious beings! They called themselves Gnomes and they taught us the most wonderful things about fragrances and herbs, and how to infuse them in the most amazing candles!

We use all-natural ingredients. Natural Soy wax with cotton wicks and only top-of-the-line fragrance oils blended with essential oils to provide long-lasting, clean burning candles that will fill your space with comfort, help you revitalize, or get the rest you need.

The beauty of handmade is in the pour. Each batch is carefully constructed to deliver a unique scent and experience. We produce our candles on demand, so the product you receive is always fresh and at its most fragrant.

Environmentally conscious, our candles are made with all-natural ingredients. There is no animal testing and no harming of Gnomes in our production process.

It all starts with an idea. The relaunch of BDA has been a project in progress for approximately two years. We dedicated time, love, and tears into creating ideal candles; experimenting with various waxes, wicks, fragrances, and essential oils until we discovered the perfect blend. When BDA was first established in 2012, the magic was overflowing, guiding our journey to create that perfect candle. We were blessed! However, amidst the challenges brought by COVID and industry changes, finding our direction again was a process. Suppliers and products didn't align as before. Yet, through extensive research, testing, and perseverance, we believe our final product will bring you genuine satisfaction.
