Candle Making 101
It all starts with an idea. The relaunch of BDA has been a project in progress for approximately two years. We dedicated time, love, and tears into creating ideal candles; experimenting with various waxes, wicks, fragrances, and essential oils until we discovered the perfect blend. When BDA was first established in 2012, the magic was overflowing, guiding our journey to create that perfect candle. We were blessed! However, amidst the challenges brought by COVID and industry changes, finding our direction again was a process. Suppliers and products didn't align as before. Yet, through extensive research, testing, and perseverance, we believe our final product will bring you genuine satisfaction.
Introducing our Essential Oil Blended Candles
Essential oils are the raw basis of where fragrance comes from. To derive an essential oil a flower, bark, leaf, etc. is put through a delicate distillation process or it is emerged in a carrier oil which if left long enough will infuse the essence of the oils from the plant, flower, bark, leaf, etc. into the carrier oil to be used as a remedy, tincture, and more. For candle making, we tend to stick with the distilled oils and blend them with carriers to produce wonderful scents to fill your home.
